It's hard to make the trek sometimes but when you get the opportunity, seize the moment!
$8 bowl of shrimp wonton noodle soup will leave you craving for more. With four large wontons, copious amount of noodles and delicious broth, what more can you ask for? Cash only establishment so with this price, don't expect any fine dining customer service - it's a quick in and out type of visit.
I would always ask for a small bowl to create a sauce mixture (usually the red vinegar, soya sauce and chilli oil). Don't be fooled by their chilli oil, it's deadly so take it easy and test it out first prior to dumping a spoonful in your bowl. -

This Jim Chai Kee has the exact same menu and pricing as the one on Midland but in my opinion it's not as good.
I got the C1 wontons, beef and fish balls soup (no noodles) $10, my dad got the A1 wontons, beef and fish balls noodle soup $9, and my mom got the A5 wonton and beef noodle soup $8. We also got a plate of veggies $3, which were some sort of steamed greens.
We all loved the wontons. They were chock-full of shrimp, same as at Midland. I didn't like the beef here at all though. They were slimy and some pieces were really thick and were still raw in the middle. I liked the beef at the Midland location better. The fish balls were ok and the same as at Midland.
The greens were a good mix of leaves and stems. I didn't like the sauce that they came with - too salty, but the greens tasted great when I put them in my soup.
Staff were very efficient. We got our food within 5 minutes of ordering. Staff at the Midland location were much friendlier, but service here was still acceptable. They have free water and tea at the back and you are welcomed to help yourself, but they ask that you only use 1 cup per person (you can refill as many times as you like though).
A good cheap meal, but I probably wouldn't order the beef here again :(
This location is in a strip mall and there is free parking, but the plaza is very busy, so parking spots are hard to come by. -

Hands down the best wonton noodles ever!
The noodles were thin and soft. The wontons were HUGE with large pieces of shrimp in it. The green veggies were fresh. The food is delicious.
There is usually a wait in lunch time. Service is pretty friendly, they respond to your requests very fast. Food comes out fast, since they specialize in wonton noodle soup. Tea you get yourself at the station. You pay at the front desk at the end of your meal.
Overall, the food is amazing! Have to check this out! -

Family wanted to eat from the hotel so we ended up ordering takeout from this place and I went to pick it up. The pricing was KILLER and since some of my family is on Keto the ability to just get soup/veggies/protein without the noodles etc was a great option. Ended up picking up a beef and fish ball soup with a veggie plate (added some extra meat). Also picked up extra soup as well. The soup itself was delicious but a little salty but still very tasty. The meat was deliciously tender and the fish ball was a hand made one not one of those processed fish balls. Both were cooked well and tasted awesome. Overall, this place is a great quick and hearty meal with super nice folks serving you.

Excellent Wontons and Egg Noodles. That is all.
